The Apparati Pragmatica
Welcome to [TAP]! On this Carrd, you'll learn all about our motto, our RP standards, the unique combat system alongside leveling up, and what we're looking for! This Carrd is on the more simple end, as we prefer to let our actions and conversations with management prove how we treat each other with respect and equity, rather than state that we do so and list reasons. Words can't describe an experience the same way a memory can!
Our Motto
"Value everyone." Every single life, character or player, no matter the condition, makes all the difference! We support everyone in our guild to the absolute best of our ability! This includes but isn't limited to resolving issues between players, encouraging engagement in RP, and constant communication between players through our Discord!
Our Standards
We have an enjoyable RP-recording system. So long as one of your characters is named in any RP on that last once every two weeks, or 14 days, the base standard is met, although we do encourage much more frequency! Feel free to ask for more clarification by contacting anybody on our management team!We do not accept racism, homophobia, misogyny, sexism, or ableism of any kind. We pride ourselves on respect, equity, and value.
Combat System
Our combat system is unique, a culmination of D&D 5E with additional sources! We're very roll-heavy, oriented around encouraging large dice rolls and outcomes in order to encourage large-scale actions! We enjoy prioritizing our players, giving them the opportunity to have their 'Boss killer' moment! Leveling up is gained through participating in RPs, attending Combat Assessments, and interviews! The more you level up, the more advancements you'll have to encourage better combat outcomes!
What are we looking for?
In order to understand what we're looking for, you should know how it is that we function. Our guild is split into three portions: Legionary, Medicus Legionis, and Provisus.Legionary focuses heavily on being the main combative forces. Our best soldiers, typically damage dealers and tanks! The ones who deal and receive the brunt of the damage.Medicus Legionis is full of our medical team! Whether if it's magical, surgical, therapeutical, Medicus Legionis has a space for you all! Medicus is often just as involved in the combat scene, assisting Legionaries who have been escorted out of the range to get them back in fighting shape, or getting right into the field and supplying healing in the moment!Provisus is our gatherers. Information, reconnaissance, support, strikes from afar, resource management and gainage. The ones who make our Crusades doable, granting us the information required to get the best chances against our target!If your character leans more towards striking from afar and being sneaky, you're not required to be in Provisus. You can absolutely line up into Legionary, as well! Please discuss with management ahead of time, and we can find the optimal group for you!Each branch has their own system of leveling up. Players will begin at Munifex, the lowest rank, and build their ways up through RP participation!
